The End Of Naptime…Or Is It?

Naptime_photo_2 OK, so I know that our girls are reaching the end of the naptime phase at 3½ years old but hey, we keep trying. Especially on the weekends. On this particular afternoon, they didn’t even bother to try to be quiet. My husband and I were in the home office next door and could hear every laugh, every hop, every word. I was just about to give up and let our little hellions out of their room when…silence. Sounded suspicious but I gave it a few more minutes, just in case they really had fallen asleep. And this photo is what I found.

I can’t complain. They didn’t *technically* leave the room. And they *were* napping. They spent a solid hour like this. A bit unusual, yes, but still effective. Oh and did they really need a nap? Yes, they did. They certainly did.

  1. That is hilarious! our little guy is only 16 months old so hopefully we still have a while to go before the end of “napdom” … though I have heard horror stories of kids who stop napping at 18 months (please god no!) Then again, he sleeps well at night which is probably even more important.
