So, do you want to hear the end of my girls’ jeans story? Yea yea yea, they both wore them to their preschool’s Spring show. But you know what? L got it into her head that she
wanted needed to wear them the next 3 days! I thought, huh? Well turns out all that encouragement and praise she received from wearing them lasted for more than just the day of the Spring show. She insisted on her jeans every morning and I, for one, was not going to deny her. I continued with the praise each morning. Why? Because those jeans needed some wearing, I tell you. It’s not often that I can have a piece of clothing, mostly untouched and ignored, finally become part of their daily (albeit only 3 days) wardrobe without having to consign them to my new regifting program for cute but unworn clothing.
Of course, that was a couple weeks ago. Now, L won’t go near them. Oh and yea, K won’t go near her jeans either. She took them off the moment she got home from school. Oh well. Now if the teachers would just do some kind of animal show. Those pink-striped overalls are still stiff from its original purchase.
