You know what I love about the girls’ preschool? Yup, it’s all these recitals they are doing for us parents to enjoy. It’s quite amazing, actually. These little 3- and 4-year-olds memorizing about 5-10 different songs. They’re constantly practicing at home – and that is certainly entertaining day-to-day. Some of them we recognize and they bring back fun memories. Others are new and the girls frequently chant the refrains over and over…so they’re not so new after a few days. Regardless, once they’re singing in the show in costume and “onstage,” it’s a brilliant concert we thoroughly enjoy.
This spring show included renditions of “Zippity-doo-da” and well, other songs that I can’t remember just now – but they did include cute little hand gestures and movements. Our little girls have become quite the little performers.
