San Diego – The Last Stop of Our Getaway Week

Lolalolo_img_2548_copy_blogIt was a kinda circuitous route going to San Diego this time…YosemiteMono Lake…Bishop…Anaheim. But with twin 4-year-olds in tow, sometimes you just have to break up that long drive.  😉  Someday, we’ll add in a stop at Six Flags Magic Mountain…though the girls will have to be older and taller (probably next year) and I’ll have to rev up my courage (age does that to you). But as always, after a well-travelled week, it was nice to relax at Lola’s and Lolo’s house.

Lola and Lolo stayed up pretty late until we got there. We left Disneyland at 10:30pm, so it was after midnight before we arrived in San Diego. The girls were totally out (thank goodness!) but popped awake when we arrived…tired but hungry. A little snack and they were in bed…and so were we.

As always, it was a relaxing stay. Bikerides by the lake, a  quick trip to the beach and a lot of great homemade Filipino food. Oh yea, and a visit from Uncle “R”, also “L”‘s and “K”‘s godfather.
